Introduction to sociology as a social-scientific perspective and academic field of inquiry. Special attention to the social structures and conditions that shape, and are shaped by, human interactions, biographies, and behaviors. Enrollment in the UM Honors Program required. A Student may not earn credit for both SOC 101 and 102.
