EXNS 497 - Pharmacology |
This course will provide the Health Promotion candidate with an in-depth study of the effects of commonly prescribed medications on exercise performance. The interaction of medications and nutritional choices will also be studied. This course will provide valuable and potentially lifesaving information for the Health Promotion candidate who is working with clients in fitness and/or exercise settings, including personal training, physical therapy, and recreational settings. Prerequisites: BIO 342 or BIO 342, and Junior or Senior Standing.
