ED 410 - Teaching of Reading |
This course addresses the Foundations of Literacy Acquisition, knowledge of diverse reading profiles (including dyslexia), an introduction to developmentally-appropriate assessment techniques that can be used in K-6 classrooms, the essential principles and practices of structured literacy instruction including state and national standards, as well as professional dispositions and practices. Requires admission to TEP.
